It’s a common story we hear almost every week: Christians are targeted by their community for their faith, and verbally mocked and told to return to the beliefs of their neighbours. And then the ridicule turns violent. Villagers attack homes with tools or crude weapons and believers are forced to flee.
Open Doors shared five stories of Christians, who became homeless due to their religion. An Indian pastor, for example, had his house set on fire during the night, when his whole family was sleeping in the building. Luckily, they managed to escape, but the family lost its home and became destitute.
