HHP supports rebuild efforts in the Philippines

implementing efforts to rebuild infrastructure and provide humanitarian aid.
The catastrophe in the Philippines has claimed several dozen lives so far; the number of casualties is
Forty-four thousand buildings were damaged, several thousand family homes were destroyed, and
more than 150 villages are still without electricity. All in all, the disaster has affected around two
million people; more than 390,000 of whom had to be relocated.
Hungarian aid has alleviated the immediate consequences of the super-typhoon. The support
